CLEARING THE PATH FOR USW STUDENTS WITH DIGITAL ADVERTISING

Client Name: University of South Wales
Industry: Education
Services Provided: Digital
Similar Clients / Projects: Spectrum Collections, Cardiff City Football Club

Whilst the word ‘Clearing’ might not mean much to the vast majority of the public, it is one that vitally important for many sixth-form students across the UK.

Indeed, if students don’t achieve the A-Level grades needed be accepted by their chosen university, Clearing offers a lifeline and, as such, it’s an important day for many Higher Education institutions, including our client, the University of South Wales.

Wanting to take full advantage of digital advertising’s capabilities on Clearing day, USW approached S3 to help them attract students through Google AdWords and Facebook.

Beginning with an in-depth audit, S3’s digital team restructured the client’s existing account, before multiple strategy meetings with USW helped finalise budgets, approve ad copy and determine logistics.

On the day itself - proving why they’ve been ranked #1 for client satisfaction three years running - S3’s digital gurus were onsite with USW’s marketing department, benefitting from direct call centre access whilst providing senior management with real-time updates.

Thanks to this hands-on approach, they received numerous plaudits from the client whilst increasing impression share (USW’s online market share) by 40%

Proving yet again that when it’s digital you want, it’s S3 you need.

“S3 Advertising have been so easy to work with and nothing is too much trouble. Within a few short months they already feel part of our team! Their in-depth knowledge of digital and the ability to understand, optimise and produce high quality campaigns and reports are particularly impressive.”
